The studies comprised of the observations, experiment and logical can conclusions to understand the principles of nature are called Science. In ancient times, science was not classified into different branches because the scientific information was less and not so widespread.

Answer:
The biologists define life as a set of characteristics that distinguish living things from non-living things.
An organism is an entity having all of the characteristics of life.

Biology has three major divisions, which include.
i. Botany: dealing with the study of plants.
ii. Zoology: dealing with the study of animals.
iii. Microbiology: dealing with the study of micro-organisms such as fungi, bacteria etc.

Answer:
Meristenatic cells are undifferentiated and small cells, which have the ability to divide through out the life. Apical meristems are located at the tips of roots and shoots while lateral meristems are located between xylem and phloem and give rise to vascular tissue.

Answer:
Digestive system is an example of organ system that carries out the process of food digestion. Its main organs include oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine.
