\nA nerve means the union of several axons that are enveloped by a covering made of lipid.
\nTypes of nerves<\/strong>
\nBased on the property of axons, the nerves are classified into three types:
\n1. Sensory nerves<\/strong>
\nThey contain the axons of sensory neurons only.
\n2. Motor nerves<\/strong>
\nThey contain the axons of motor neurons only.
\n3. Mixed nerves<\/strong>
\nThey contain the axons of both i.e. sensory and motor neurons.<\/p>\n
